Safari International has been one of the largest chapters of the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA). We are an international club with members throughout the United States and Canada.
People with like interests seem to gravitate to each other. It did not take long for Safari owners to realize they had a very special motorhome and, in 1988, Safari International was established to promote their beautiful coaches and their lifestyle. Presently, to be a member of Safari International one must be a current member of FMCA and must own a qualifying recreational vehicle. Our club welcomes all with an interest in the Safari brand. Members who have sold their coaches and are no longer motor-homing may stay in touch with the club and their long-time friends with our Safari Alumni status.
The club is divided into three regions. See the map and listing of states and provinces of each region on the REGIONS, CLUBS & LINKS page. Each region elects a vice president who represents that region on the Executive Board of the Club. Each Regional Vice President organizes a get together at least once a year in his or her respective region. These rallies are open to all members and provide opportunities to meet new friends and to network with other Safari owners to exchange ideas and share maintenance and repair tips. Good food, smiles and much laughter are the result when friends, new and old, gather at a Safari rally. For those who own classic Safari coaches, many of whom are second owners, the chance to talk to longtime owners is a priceless opportunity to learn about their coaches.
Membership in Safari International is only $20 a year and includes the opportunity to attend any of our rallies, accessibility to all sections of our website, and a subscription to our award winning Safari Trails newsletter.
We are about the legacy of Safari motorhomes, the lifestyle that it represents and, of course, friendships that span the United States, Canada and beyond.
Did we mention good food and ubiquitous laughter?
