Hi Mike,
I'm not specifically knowledgeable of your electrical setup on your Sahara, but in my past exposure to my '95 Trek and my current '04 Monaco Trek I can extrapolate in general.
What color wire(s) were connected to the original LP & CO detector? if you know that, then it will help you as you look at the DC fuse block(s) in your rig.....
If SMC used a similar master electrical panel to what Monaco delivered, you MIGHT have a block of DC fuses located adjacent to where all of your AC circuit breakers live....on my '04, this is where the major interior DC circuits are found. In your mid-late 90's Sahara, you may have to look elsewhere (or several elsewhere's) to find the fuse in question.....this is where knowing the color of the source wire at the detector will be helpful. On my '04, the circuit was a dedicated 15A fuse....
One other consideration for your pleasure....SMC in their earlier releases dual fed the LP & CO detector from both the chassis and the house battery banks. Most of the latest replacement components do not have dual inputs so you might find it necessary to choose which DC source you want to finalize on....
Feel free to give me a call if you still need to resolve this.
