WE HAVE A 1998 CONTINENTIAL THE WIRES IN THE SWITCH FOR THE AWNING HAVE BECOME DETATCHED AND WE ARE NOT SURE WHAT WIRES FO WHERE. IF ANYONE CAN HELP US OUT WE WOULD APPRECIATE IT .

Others for in the future. Purchase a small inexpensive multi-meter (from Harbor Freight) read the directions. Test each wire with the probes, touch each wire by placing the red lead on one wire and the other to a grounding point of the coach, something common and metal. The needle will swing accordingly if it is active or grounded. This wire would be the ground. The other would be the hot or one with electricity in it when the circuit is turned on. This test should be preformed with the circuit OFF!!! If you do it with the circuit on sparks could fly or worse you could get hurt!!!!
